Gathering Our Voice gathers stories that maintain and strengthen our community, economy and environment – stories of diverse people adapting, learning, and cooperating. And stories from old-timers and newcomers alike that show how the acts of appreciating, enhancing, and hoping shape our future.
The Okanogan County Historical Society is working with the Okanogan Conservation District and the Okanogan Valley Land Council to gather interviews that can be used to tell the story of the Okanogan Conservation District celebrating it’s 70-year anniversary this year.
